We are looking for you to join the IT - Clinical Systems division as soon as possible on a permanent basis

The IT division (GBIT) of Münster University Hospital enables the digitalization of patient care with over 100 specialists for around 11,000 employees, our patients, their relatives and networked partners of the UKM. We support and implement efficient processes and professional communication. As one of the most powerful IT organizations in the Münsterland region, we manage more than 6,500 workstations, over 1,000 servers and the further development and expansion of our business and clinical systems (primarily SAP and Orbis) and manage key strategic IT projects.

Our aim is to implement the requirements for modern, secure and highly available information and telecommunications technology reliably, quickly and effectively. The provision and support of systems in the field of image data management is essential in meeting these complex challenges of digitalization in the healthcare sector. The Clinical Systems department assumes responsibility and support for the central PACS system.

• Independent consulting, support and implementation of highly complex special imaging solutions for patient care in the various specialist disciplines
• Support for the central PACS environment and various diagnostic software, including in accordance with the Medical Devices Act
• System responsibility and process optimization for image data management and worklist management
• Independent coordination of IT-supported processes in digital image processing
• The scope of duties is associated with a high level of responsibility for medical imaging diagnostics, including the associated technical documentation.

• Completed training as an IT specialist, completed studies in the field of IT or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the administration of complex IT systems and IT applications, preferably in the healthcare sector
• Independent and autonomous, but also team-oriented, structured way of working and commitment
• Interest in problem analysis, process design and project work
• Communication skills in German and English
