Your tasks

In the Data Scientist position, you will contribute your technological and business knowledge to our internal and external projects.

The purpose of your activity is:

  • Analytics and machine learning to support business decisions: As a data scientist, you will use data analytics and machine learning to help make informed business decisions. Your role focuses on improving processes through targeted analyzes and contributing to the successful implementation of data-driven projects.
  • Interface between technology and business areas: In your role as a data scientist, you establish the connection between technical teams and business areas. You ensure that the technical solutions meet business requirements and bring real added value.
  • Promote a data-driven culture in the company: As part of the team, you will support the promotion of a culture that is built on data-driven decisions. You will work to increase understanding and acceptance of data-driven approaches across various departments to help achieve competitive advantages.
As a data scientist, you will take on a responsible role in the area of ​​AI & Advanced Analytics. With your specialist knowledge and experience, you will make a significant contribution to the further development and optimization of our analytical products and projects. You promote and follow best practices to advance innovative data projects. Working closely with the Head of AI, you will ensure that the company continuously meets the highest standards in data-driven innovation.   Your responsibilities will be:
  • Development and implementation of advanced analytical models and software components to solve business problems
  • Execution of data science projects from conception to implementation
  • Collaborate with business units to define requirements, propose solutions and implement them efficiently
  • Advising internal and external stakeholders on data-driven decision-making, modeling and optimization potential
  • Conducting workshops and training for teams and managers to impart data science skills
  • Continuous collaboration with diverse teams to ensure data science solutions meet business needs and provide value
your profile

You bring with you knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Expertise in programming languages ​​such as Python, R or Julia
  • Comprehensive and deep expertise in MLOps, including implementing and optimizing machine learning workflows
  • Familiarity with data processing tools such as NumPy, Pytorch, TensorFlow, MLFlow and Scikit-learn
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive way of working
Your experiences are:
  • At least 3 years of experience in data science, machine learning and predictive analytics
  • Experience in working with interdisciplinary teams and in stakeholder management
Your training consists of:
  • Completed master's or bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science or a related field
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
