The Supplier Quality Engineer (f/m/d) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the quality assurance activities for the manufacturing of our automate instruments.

This position is part of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control department located in Munich and can be hybrid. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive complex supplier change in a project mode (Main activity)

  • Drive supplier performance improvement through root cause analysis, corrective action and supplier performance reviews

  • Ensure compliance with the European Medical Device Directive and associated regulations

  • Liaise with the regional and global Quality & Regulatory Affair organization to support the development of and ensure alignment with BEC global policies and procedures

  • Establish and monitor supplier KPIâs

  • Participate in internal audits and on-site supplier audits

  • Participate in quality management system projects

  • Initiate continuous improvement activities

  • Define initial sample inspection reports content and evaluation of reports

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Proven record in supplier quality area in either medical devices, automotive, aerospace industry or with background in electro-mechanical equipment production

  • Experienced with electronic and mechanical components validation and release

  • Experienced with quality management methods (i.e. Six Sigma, Problem Solving, Statistical Tools)

  • Knowledge of EU, FDA and related regulations including QSRâs, ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and the EU IVDD

  • Proven experience with process validation

  • Good computer skills which includes Microsoft Applications, Databases and Web-based Tools

  • Verbal and written English, German would be a plus

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Certified lead auditor according to ISO 9001

  • Certified lead auditor according to ISO 13485
