Your tasks

  • At our location in Hilden (near Düsseldorf) you will work in the Process and Master Data Governance department with an international flair and will also be part of the End to End Business Process Committee.
  • You lead the data experts in the department, as well as a matrix team that coordinates the master data management. Here you develop new models of collaboration and provide your employees with professional guidance. Driving a positive and collaborative work environment is your focus.
  • In your role, you will be the contact person in various projects regarding master data and the relevant core processes, e.g. the implementation/expansion of IT systems. In addition, you will carry out projects independently and across departments.
  • You will continue to build the professional network within QIAGEN in order to promote the global harmonization and optimization of business processes, especially with regard to the standardization of master data, such as the further development of the management system for creating, monitoring and maintaining master data.
  • You support the further development of global master data governance by specifying the guidelines for maintaining master data and ensuring its documentation, as well as analysis and optimization of data quality and governance.

Your profile

  • You have a degree in economics or engineering or have comparable qualifications.
  • You have 5-10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in leading MDM teams or project management with a focus on data structures.
  • You have a good understanding of business processes and the underlying data management in a manufacturing company and know typical terms and definitions.

- Possess the skills to align various data management strategies with broader business objectives and create plans to achieve long-term goals, as well as negotiation and influencing skills to work with stakeholders (e.g. to implement strategies, gain buy-in for initiatives).

  • You have effective leadership skills and the ability to build and develop a high-performing matrix team; promote collaboration and motivate team members.
  • Good knowledge of using systems (e.g. ERP system (SAP would be an advantage), SAP-MDG, PIM, SFDC, Winshuttle, Ariba), as well as the ability to familiarize yourself with new technologies and methods.

- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills and a structured and goal-oriented way of working; supplemented by practical experience in agile project and process management. A high degree of independence and motivation rounds off her profile.

- You have very good written and spoken English and German skills to ensure effective communication in our international environment
