About the role

We are looking for an experienced Product Designer with a strong background in data visualization to join our remote team. You will play a crucial role in developing intuitive, impactful, and visually compelling designs that enable our users to understand complex environmental data easily. As a hands-on designer, you will be involved in all aspects of the design process, from ideation to execution, and will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to bring your designs to life.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of our SaaS platform's user interface, with a particular focus on creating effective and engaging data visualizations.
  • Work directly with product management to understand user needs and business objectives, translating them into innovative design solutions.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and to iterate on user feedback.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to guide and validate design decisions as well as inform the product strategy and next features
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's, Master's degrees or equivalent in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in data visualization.
  • Proficient in modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into intuitive and aesthetically pleasing visualizations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, comfortable working with remote teams.
Preferred skills
  • Experience in designing B2B SaaS products or in the Climate Tech space.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Strong interest in sustainability and a desire to contribute to meaningful environmental impact.

Please note this is a fully remote position, open to candidates within a 2 to 3-hour time difference from Central European Time (CET) to ensure alignment with team working hours.
