The EMEA Security and Loss Prevention Surface TransportationProgram Implementation (EMEA S&LP ST PI) team is established asa support function for the EMEA Security & Loss Prevention andAmazon Transportation Services (ATS). The team is composed ofprogram managers to improve security and loss prevention programswithin the EMEA ATS Surface Transportation.
As a team weare looking for a new Senior Program Manager.
The idealcandidate will be responsible for developing risk-based securityprograms specific to ATS Surface Transportation within EMEA,creating as well as maintaining and continuously improving thoseprograms. This includes piloting and expanding security solutionsand processes, creating standards, SOPs and other specificationsfor the EMEA ATS Surface Transportation.

Inaddition, the job holder will support and act upon investigationactivities concerning losses and other incidents within Amazon'sSurface Transportation and they will conduct due diligence andaudits to assess the security of potential or existing businesspartners and vendors in the areas of transportation, storage,logistics and distribution of Amazon products; and define andimplement regional Surface Transportation security strategies foreducation and awareness across theorganization.

Responsibilities:
-Create, maintain and improve tactical security programs in EMEA ATSSurface Transportation, consisting of multiple projects differingin scope and size, in order to prevent theft and losses; developrisk-based and cost-effective security solutions; engage theinternal and external stakeholders for security solutions'implementation.
- Provide guidance and support forSecurity and Loss Prevention teams; supply chain, logistics andtransportation operations and coordination groups, otherstakeholders within the Amazon organization and thirdparties.
- Carry out key liaison contacts in industry,law enforcement, government and regulatory agencies to maintainawareness and provide tactical response to upcoming legislation,industry trends, external risks and new technologies related toSurface Transportation.
- Ensure compliance to internalstandards defining the requirements for Surface Transportationsecurity; collaborate and provide expertise in conducting securityaudits; partner with appropriate stakeholders to implementeffective audit programs to detect, prevent and resolve SurfaceTransportation losses; implement and provide guidance on audits toassess the security of business partners, vendors, third partylogistics providers, and carriers in the areas of transportation;and follow up on definition and implementation of corrective actionplans.
- Implement internal business stakeholder supportin order to promote security as added value and businessdifferentiator; provide direct input to the relevant internalstakeholders and operational teams on high risk new businessinitiatives within the logistics and supply chain environment;partner with appropriate internal stakeholders to provide securityinput regarding the selection of third party logistics and supplychain providers; implement key collaborations with regionalstakeholders to implement consistent standards, programs,assessments and procedures for the supply chain with carefulconsideration for implementing and maintaining relationships withaffiliate management and international partners
-Provide expertise on and contribute to the implementation ofsecurity awareness campaigns and specific training packages forS&LP personnel, including international threat and riskassessment, risk management, loss prevention, intelligence andMO's, incident management, and investigations.
-Contribute to reduce business losses from security incidents byidentifying and understanding vulnerabilities, MO's, andimplementing the appropriate means and measures to protecttransported assets in the middle mile environment. If required alsoact as the lead interface for wholesalers and third partyproviders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources,adult education, organizational development, instructional designor related field
- Experience leading processimprovements
