Company Overview
YUKKA Lab is a rapidly expanding FinTech company, and we are actively seeking a qualified and passionate frontend developer with a strong focus on graphs, visualizations, user interface design and analysis, widgets, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular / Svelte to join our team.
We specialize in news analytics by evaluating professional print and media content, with a primary focus on the financial markets. However, we are expanding our products to cater to the broader market on detecting relevant insights from documents.
Role
As a frontend developer, you will play a vital role in enhancing our products' data representation and user interface. Your primary responsibility will be to implement intuitive and visually compelling designs, graphs, charts, and widgets that effectively communicate complex financial data and market sentiments to our customers.
Collaborating closely with a talented team of engineers specializing in frontend development, user experience, backend, design, and machine learning, you will bring life to data - thereby enabling our users to gain deeper insights into the financial market trends. You will have the freedom to bring fresh ideas to the table, actively participating in the evolution of our platform and expanding our existing products.
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive SaaS applications, widgets and mobile applications
- Collaborate closely with product management and data analysts to ensure that the data representation aligns with customer expectations and requirements.
- Continuously update and improve our existing data visualizations and widgets based on user feedback and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of graphs, visualizations, and widgets into the final product.
- Promote a user-centric mindset within the organization, advocating for the importance of effective data representation in all product development endeavors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in frontend development.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in working with data visualization libraries and tools (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly, Highcharts).
- Familiarity with Angular and Svelte or even Python will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and think creatively to find innovative solutions for data representation.
- A history of working closely with product designers to create cohesive and visually appealing interfaces.
- Ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects and driving them to successful completion.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a willingness to take initiative and go the extra mile.
- Fluent communication skills in English or German, enabling effective collaboration with the international team.
