We’re looking for a motivated Software Robotics Engineer (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies.

Join our portfolio company: A German dual-use technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.
In this role, you’ll:- Design, develop, and maintain software for robotic systems, including simulation, control algorithms, perception, planning, and user interfaces
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate robotics solutions into existing systems and workflows
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of software solutions to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for robotics systems, including on-site and remote assistance when necessary
- Document software designs, development processes, and system configurations for internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience in software development for robotics or automation systems
- Proficiency in C++, and ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Experience with software development tools and methodologies, including version control (e.g., Git) and continuous integration
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and hardware interfaces (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, serial)
- Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, etc.
- Experience with cybersecurity principles and practices, specifically in the context of robotics and IoT devices
- Bachelor’s degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
- Business proficiency in English
Please note that we are looking for support in the Munichoffice of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
