Summary

About the Position:
Serves as Stock Record Accountable Officer for Supply Support Activity (SSA) within the AFSB. This SSA supplies CLASS II, IIIP, VII and IX material to the Duelmen Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS) - 2 site. Responsible for oversight and advising contractors performing: Supply Storage, Petroleum/Oils/Lubricants, Stock Record Account, and Hazardous Materials Warehouse.



Duties
  • Develop plans to accomplish the overall mission of Supply Support Activity.
  • Perform specialized duties related to distribution/storage of all classes of supplies.
  • Provide a focal point for monitoring the efficiency of the local supply system to overcome deficiencies.
  • Recommend functional responsibilities to contractors to fulfill assigned missions.
  • Evaluate technical assistance requirements with other specialists to determine overall level of services provided.
  • Provide technical guidance on Supply Support Activity operations.
  • Evaluate alternatives to ensure most efficient operations of a Supply Support Activity (SSA).
