What you`ll do: 
We are looking for a AI Full-Stack Developer to help us integrate SAP’s digital assistant Joule (the generative AI assistant, revolutionizes how users interact with SAP business systems, making every touchpoint count and every task simpler) in our SAP Signavio product suite. You will work with the most innovative products in the area of Artificial Intelligence in the domain of process management and process mining. As an AI Developer you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of modules or features of a product and work according to specifications and project plans.
All Joule integration will support the entire Signavio product suite and collaborating with members of several teams across the organization will be part of your daily work.

Core tasks include: 

• Provides application implementation services typically within the boundaries of specifications and project plans
• Design activities include requirements analysis and design documentation
• Implementation activities include implementation, testing and integration
• Maintenance activities include error analysis and removal
• Usually extends, modifies or adapts existing designs but may also be involved in the development of new (sub-)systems

Accountability

• Responsible for delivery of outcome of assigned projects or areas of responsibility
• Internally recognized senior on complex technical and business matters
• Work on large, complex activities, using demonstrated creativity and expertise and applying specialist professional knowledge to deliver high quality results / technical solutions
• Collaborate in devising long-term concepts
• May include team lead or supervisory responsibilities

• Contribute independently, resolves complex issues in own specialist area (e.g. cross-functional or cross-country projects)
• Work independently on topics while setting priorities having sole responsibility
• Provide regular project status and updates
• Decisions/solutions can enhance essentially current and future design and strategy
• Enhance complex systems & processes

• Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external customers and partners
• Contribute actively to build common ground for cooperation
• Communicates clear functional requirements and targets
• Communicate clear and conveying processes & policies in a way that others can understand
• Communicate relevant messages in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to cross functional colleagues & managers
• Building our AI services we integrate the most modern and cutting edge LLM engines in the market to make recommendations on which action to take to improve live processes. Our future AI services will go far beyond LLM and cover the whole spectrum of novel AI technologies including development/training generic business-adaptive Foundation models and finetuning of LLMs for a particular business need.

What you'll bring:

Preferred qualifications and skills:
 
·    Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics or a comparable field
·    4+ years experience of machine learning engineer or similar roles
·    Full stack development experience
·    Being an expert on software engineering, test driven development, backend and frontend systems
·    Familiarity with data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
·    Proficiency in AI and natural language processing (NLP) techniques, including machine learning, neural networks, Large Language and Generative AI Models
·    Solid understanding of LLM prompt- and retrieval-augmented generation techniques, algorithms and approaches
·    Very good Java, Python, Javascript programming skills
·    Experienced in test driven development
·    Expert in cloud app / service development
·    Fluent in spoken & written English, German is a plus
·    True team player with the ability to convince, influence & lead
·    Enthusiastic, proactive, likes to take initiative & work in a challenging environment
