Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

This role manages the successful design and implementation of trainer-led learning programs for Retail and Franchise audiences. The focus of this role is to ensure impactful and efficient delivery and implementation of service and selling programs which support market training teams in all learning aspects of our service transformation initiative #EveryMomentMatters as well as the continued development and sustainability of our consumer service model Connect Engage Inspire.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•           Scope, design, deliver and implement trainer-led or blended learning programs in close collaboration with the Retail Capability programs lead,  Global Sales Academy (GSA) work streams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

•           Collaborate with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and external agencies for program design, delivery and content development

•           Project manage the creation and realization of service and selling learning tools from needs analysis to content design to test/pilot execution and implementation in defined markets

•           Support market training teams with creation of service and selling skills support tools

•           Implement and continuously review a sustainable and complete framework to measure the success of the service model and related programs in all markets

•           Act as an expert point person within global retail on all topics related to service transformation as well as the Connect Engage Inspire service model

•           Drive the development of new concepts and ideas which support the accomplishment of our service model ambitions

•           Manage the Connect Engage Inspire Viva Engage community across all markets and retail back office functions including regular communications, recognition awards and events.

•           Ensure programs are designed and targeted at knowledge, skills and techniques as defined within adidas retail competency framework

•           Champion our Connect Engage Inspire Service standards and salesfloor leadership behaviors to ensure consistent delivery of programs to the desired result and impact

•           Manage communication, logistics and administration requirements of trainer-led programs

•           Define and apply success criteria and learning measurement KPIs for service and selling skills programs

•           Build and maintain a solid working relationship with Global and Market Retail Operations, Business Units (BUs) and key stakeholders

•           Work towards increased relevancy and effectiveness of learning programs content with market training teams

•           Support markets in program implementation to ensure success criteria are met

•           Facilitate a culture of sharing and adopting global best practices across all markets

•           Help with planning the annual service and selling skills program pipeline to ensure timely and balanced implementation across our own retail stores and where relevant franchise stores

•           Responsible for maintaining expert level awareness of the realities and needs of store teams and customers

•           Support the GSA team with internal tasks as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•           Consumer first mindset

•           Solid understanding of adult learning principles

•           Solid understanding of learning design methodologies

•           Ability to create compelling, relevant and interactive learning programs

•           Strong training delivery and facilitation skills, both virtual and in-person

•           Strong listening and questioning skills

•           Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and customers

•           Planning and project management skills

•           Coaching and mentoring skills are required

•           Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office

•           Fluent in English, additional language is an advantage

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

•           Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

•           3+ years in a retail store leadership role with experience in actively servicing consumers

•           2+ years retail training experience, preferably in the apparel / retail industry

•           2+ years of experience in learning program delivery and implementation

•           2+ years professional experience in a multi-national business environment an advantage

•           2+ years experience in managing events

•           Experience in virtual classroom training delivery is desired

•           Exposure to retail industry in multiple markets is an advantag
