Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our boutique investment banking team in Munich as an Analyst or Associate, with a focus on the technology or healthcare sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, a deep understanding of the technology industry, and exceptional analytical skills. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals on a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and strategic advisory assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis, to support transaction execution and decision-making.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the technology industry, identifying key trends, competitive dynamics, and potential investment opportunities.
- Due Diligence: Assist in conducting due diligence on potential transactions, including reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and other relevant materials.
- Transaction Execution: Support senior team members in all aspects of transaction execution, including preparing presentation materials, managing data rooms, and coordinating with external parties.
- Client Interaction: Interact with clients and external stakeholders, providing support on various aspects of transactions and maintaining strong relationships throughout the deal process.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects and contribute to a positive and dynamic work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance.
- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in valuation techniques.
- Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
