Propulsion Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for superstars to support us on our Argo project Optimized for flexibility and reliability, Argo provides an end-to-end service capable of integrating with a bigger RFA launch system, as well as other launch vehicles. Its design builds on RFA ONE and Redshift heritage, utilizing already available technology and expertise. But Argo is not just a cargo capsule. It's a commitment to rebuild Europe's independent space cargo capabilities, and we want you to be a part of it.

Your Tasks

• Perform design, analysis and development engineering tasks for various propulsion systems
• Align resources to accomplish key objectives, assign clear accountability for important objectives
• Work with other engineering teams to integrate propulsion systems into the overall spacecraft design. Ensure compatibility with structural, thermal, and electrical systems.
• Develop test plans and analyze test results in support with our test team
• Contribute testing operations on the propulsion systems
• Apply engineering and industry concepts and theories to navigate and complete daily tasks
• Use various testing, analysis, modeling and simulation tools to estimate or calculate system performance
• Create technical documentation
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years work experience in spacecraft propulsion systems
• Demonstrated proficiency in the basic principles of compressible and incompressible flow, thermodynamics, thermochemistry, mechanics, and pressurized components
• Experience with Siemens NX is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of physics, engineering materials and manufacturing processes
• Fluent English oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
• Self-independent, a structured way of working and committed to working in a fast-paced environment
