In our company, your core responsibilities include:

• Takes ownership of next generation and existing hardware system designs
• Leads the Hardware Team to scope deliverables and manage resources
• Creates, maintains, and promotes documentation of processes
• Lead the Safety certification process from certification to maintaining certificates
• Ensures product release schedules are on-time by actively managing and driving project teams to hit milestones
• Collaborates with key partners (software, manufacturing, marketing, sales, etc.) to support project development and completion
• Builds and maintains positive relationships with cross functional teams
• Participates in design reviews and design decisions
• Responsible for employee hiring, training, and career development planning
• Provides guidance and direction to direct reports, including setting performance goals and monitoring performance

What you should bring with you:

• Degree in Engineering Science of a University or University of Applied Sciences (Bc, MasterSc, Dipl.-Ing.)
• 7+ years Hardware Design experience required
• 2+ years Management experience desired
• Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and setting design strategy
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex product development cycles
• Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional customer support
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in German and English language
• Very good basis knowledge in a broad field of physical disciplines (Mechanics, Electricity, Optics, Thermodynamics); high affinity to technical physics

Preferred Experience

• Experience with semiconductor test equipment design
• Experience in developing technical solution from idea to shipping product
• Experience with verification and validation of hardware designs
• Understanding of software development needs and timelines
• Understanding of manufacturing requirements and process
