What you`ll do:
Summary:
We are looking for an experienced full stack cloud engineer with primary focus on the backend engineering on Spring Boot Java to work on a SaaS application on SAP Cloud Platform with a strong customer base. The candidates with prior experience in distributed computing, SAP HANA and Cloud Application programming would be preferred.
As the team is responsible for end-to-end features, we are looking for colleagues who can also work on the entire spectrum of development from frontend, devOps along with the backend development and non-functional requirements like performance and operations.
What you bring:
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering
- Experience with micro-service architectures and distributed systems.
- Experience in cloud deployment paradigm using Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, SAP Cloud platform, or hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Experience with handling of mass data (structured + unstructured). Proficient in writing streaming API.
- Excellent programming skills in JavaScript or Typescript and any JVM based languages like JAVA/Kotlin/Scala, and a solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and databases.
- Proficient in writing testable code and setting up the build pipeline.
- Experience in writing responsive web applications with asynchronous programming style.
- Experience in REST, OData REST, Spring Boot.
