Petroplan are supporting a large EPC client with the sourcing of a CSA Supervisor to join a LNG project in Lower Saxony, Germany. Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities Discipline Supervisors reports to the Area Construction Manager and will be responsible for the construction activities specific related to their discipline.
- Adhere to and support HEH's HSE and Sustainability Policies. Lead a safe construction ensuring that discipline works are executed safely in compliance with project specific HSE program.
- Planning and preparation of the discipline work in close coordination with the Area Construction Manager.
- Coordinate with other HEH Discipline Supervisors.
- Lead the coordination and monitoring of contractors work to ensure that the construction activities are executed according to the requirements of the project.
- Daily walk downs for verification of design compliance, and inspection activities for acceptance of facilities and systems to assure that systems are in compliance with the issued design, mandated codes, standards, and licensor requirements.
- Assist Project Control team in schedule and progress update, and in the required reporting (daily, weekly and monthly).
- Support the implementation of the Site Quality Manual.
- Data collection to measure the progress of construction works.
- Review certifications and progress reports submitted by contractors.
- Mitigate potential claims by an optimize contractors' coordination.
- Review, approval and monitor EPC contractor Claims and Variation orders.
- Control of EPC contractor, and subcontrators, contractual scope.
- Ensure that information needed to develop as-built documentation is collected and provided by the Contractors.
- Manage Discipline punch list progress on a daily basis.
- Facilitate completion of the Discipline systems per the schedule and know the status of systems coming due in upcoming weeks.
- Notify the Turnover Manager when a system is ready for a punch walk-down.
- Work with the construction team (including contractors) to remove any roadblocks to systems completion.
