What you`ll do:
You will join the Cross Product Engineering & Experience organization, which is at the very heart of SAP.
In this role, you will be involved in a publicly funded EU project "Open Reference Architecture" (ORA) worth 300 million Euros. You will be responsible for the integration data modelling process and contribute directly to several core integration data models. You will be part of a central team that collaborates with all applications and services and works on some of SAP’s most challenging integration issues.
As a (Senior) Developer (f/m/d) for Integration Data Modelling, -you will develop and document the integration data modelling methodology including best practices and guidelines. You will assist applications in adopting the methodology by training and supporting them in developing their own integration data model. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments and technologies on topics like Master Data Integration or Data Products.
What you bring:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in (business application) development and data modelling
- Very good analytical and conceptual thinking
- Fundamental understanding of the core business processes
- Good communication and moderation skills in English, ideally also in German
Meet your team:
Our team, One Domain Model (ODM), is part of the Product Engineering (PE) board area and one of the key drivers of SAP’s integration architecture. We address some of the most challenging integration issues. We are a diverse team of highly motivated and experienced experts based in Germany.
ORA:
SAP aims to develop an Open Reference Architecture (ORA) for a secure and sustainable cloud edge infrastructure that includes intelligent optimization methods for data transparency and security. This reference infrastructure, aspired by the EU IPCEI-CIS (Important Project of Common European Interest – Next Generation Cloud Infrastructure and Services) program, shall be the basis for future software development and a prerequisite for a pan-European cloud edge infrastructure.
SAP will be working on the publicly funded project with both experienced employees from its existing workforce but also new hires. Therefore, we are looking for suitable candidates. If you are interested in Cloud Operating System development and operation, the usage and further development of Open-Source solutions and standards, interoperability, efficiency, and sustainability you should consider applying.
