Job descriptionTasks

Participation in the creation and review of detailed system and software specificationsPlanning and preparation of test activities (analysis, development and documentation of test cases and scenarios)Execution of tests and detailed documentation of test results and test proceduresRegular reporting of test results and recommendation of corrective measures in the event of procedural, product or process deficienciesDefining requirements for existing and future software systems for effective software testing and test automationValidation of configurations and customer adaptations of our products for various aircraft typesMaintenance and further development of production and test tools as part of our aeronautical hardware platformCollaboration in the development and implementation of methods for quality testing and inspection of products as well as continuous improvement of existing test proceduresRequirementsSuccessfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable degree programme as well as many years of professional experience in a similar functionParticularly good knowledge of test planning, test design, test development and test automationExperience in testing embedded systemsGood command of test process optimisation and selection of test methods is an advantageIP network knowledge as well as experience in aviation and with aviation standards such as DO-178Good Linux knowledge and expertise in scripting languages such as Python and Bash are desirableExpertise of various Linux tools such as make, Subversion, Jenkins etc.Existing work permit for the EU
