Einleitung

We are currently seeking an experienced analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data on software vendors' pricing strategies. This role is crucial in providing insights that enable technology executives to confidently and swiftly select the best vendor for their critical software investments.

As part of a newly established team creating innovative, AI-powered business lines, you will collaborate with expert tech strategy analysts and product development teams advancing new initiatives from inception.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data discovery, identification, and collection focused on software pricing data.
  • Standardize data by classifying unstructured text inputs into structured columns for Product, Module, and SKU.
  • Transform unstructured data into a structured format in collaboration with Data Engineering teams.
  • Perform data analysis, including quality checks, extracting key findings, and suggesting quality remediation.
  • Define and co-develop statistical discount methodologies extrapolated from existing datasets.
  • Collaborate agilely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Solution Engineers, and Product Development teams for information exchange and decision-making.


Required Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
  • Statistical skills, particularly in distribution analysis, quartile analysis, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying and classifying important data.
  • High attention to detail for detecting issues.
  • Coachable with a willingness to learn new systems and skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities, including the creation of synthetic data with minimal input.
  • Ability to build trust, negotiate, and collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • EU citizenship needed


Additional Qualifications:


  • Understanding of modern data architectures (SQL, data lake, cloud platforms).
  • Proficiency in SQL coding (queries, joins).
  • Experience with Python/R for data modeling.
  • Familiarity with LLM chat interface search and web data analysis (e.g., Perplexity).
  • Basic HTML editing skills or the ability to use no-code HTML tools.
  • Previous experience in companies providing evaluation, benchmarking, or vendor comparison solutions in the software/cloud/IT space.


This position requires you to have existing residency in Germany or England.
