Platform Engineer (Go / K8s / SRE) Remote Germany only Up to €90k + stock and benefits Realm is recruiting for a Series-A CNCF security Startup focused on preventing the exploitation of their client's infrastructure. A well-funded, revenue-generating startup spearheaded by serial entrepreneurs who know the industry and have previously successfully sold their companies. They are looking for a Platform Engineer / SRE who can sustain their culture of autonomy, innovation and creativity. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for developing new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills. Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the reliability, security and availability of the platform
  • Playing a key role in architectural and design decisions
  • Partner with engineers to build solutions to automate deployment and
  • operational tasks and deployments
  • Responding to and investigating infrastructure and service problems
  • Stay up to date on the cloud infrastructure technology landscape
  • This is an on-call position
Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of experience working as a Software / DevOps engineer
  • Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes including operators and controllers
  • Experience with Cloud Providers either as a user or a developer (AWS / GCP / Azure)
  • Experience with Terraform and Ansible
  • Familiarity with producing PostgreSQL databases
  • Experience with observability technologies, such as OpenTelemetry Tracing, Grafana Dashboards, and various logging technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English
  • Have a great attitude and enjoy building awesome things with awesome people
