KBRâs enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contractâs original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.
Job Summary
As an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all maintenance-related activities at the site. This includes supervising and directing technical and administrative efforts to ensure contract compliance and client satisfaction. You will manage maintenance services, equipment maintenance nodes, fueling operations, and equipment storage locations. You will work closely with equipment maintenance bay leads, Quality Compliance (QC), and supporting staff to ensure all maintenance activities meet contract requirements and standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for equipment maintenance services at the site to include multiple equipment maintenance nodes, fueling operations, and equipment storage locations.
- Work closely with equipment maintenance bay leads, QCs, and support staff to ensure equipment maintenance, warehousing activities, fueling, and property accountability functions are performed to standards and codes required by the LOGCAP contract.
- Responsible for reporting maintenance and readiness activities and equipment to ensure all requirements in the PWS are met.
- Ensure personnel required to work within the Global Combat Support System Army in the maintenance department are trained to perform all levels of maintenance on the equipment assigned (M2 Bradley).
- Manage a workforce of less than 50 direct hires and subcontracted employees.
- Provide management and direction to employees regarding compliance with company, customer, and local area of responsibility standards of conduct.
- Instill a culture of continuous process improvement and high performance; and ensure that health, morale, and welfare requirements are met.
- Review and make recommendations concerning daily operations.
- Supervise, plan, coordinate, and direct the field and sustainment maintenance of all wheeled, tracked, armament, power generation, and utility equipment.
- Serve as principal supervisory lead for maintenance and/or operations for the project office.
- Supervise personnel performing the duties of: Armament/Fire Control Maintenance Supervisor (MOSC 91K4O); Artillery Mechanic (MOSC 91P4O); Bradley Fighting Vehicle System Maintain Maintenance Supervisor (MOSC 91X4O).
- Report directly to the Senior Equipment Maintenance Manager, and in their absence, may be authorized to act on behalf of the Contractor for all matters relating to this contract and be designated in writing to the Contracting Officer (CO).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Green Card holder who has lived within the United States for at least the last 3 years to be eligible for this position.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in the management of a similar or related multi-function operation.
- Must have at least 3 years of progressively responsible management and leadership experience in military maintenance of tactical vehicles and prepositioned stock within the logistics career fields.
- Requires at least 3 years of management experience working within the Global Combat Support Service Army (GCSS-A) maintenance module, Supply Type Code 910. Â
- Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Management or supervisory experience leading groups of employees (1-50) and work centers.
- Experience in repairs and troubleshooting of the M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle family & M3 BFIST including FS3, LRU, and other specialized weapons system electronics.
- The ability to adjust work loads and tasks to meet fast changing directions utilizing a diverse workforce consisting of multiple nationalities.
