Summary

About the Position: Serve as a Supply Technician for standard and/or non-standard Class VIII durable, expendable, and non-expendable medical supplies and equipment in the Supply Chain Management Branch, Logistics Division at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC).



Duties
  • Manage medical supply operations by utilizing logistics automated systems, primarily Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) and be acquainted with point of use system automated ordering system.
  • Maintain a Government Purchase Card for ordering non-contracted items and or urgent orders.
  • Perform tasks concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and replenishing expendable and durable medical supplies for various departments, clinics, and external customers of LRMC.
  • Provide coordination and assistance to customers regarding product availability, sources, costs, demand or usage history, and document preparation/processing procedures.
