Controller - Maternity Cover (f/m/d) MEININGER Hotels Berlin Headquarters

Full-time / Temporary 12 months

MEININGER Hotels is looking for a Controller (12 months contract) who will serve as contact for Projects, Development and related CAPEX topics, Asset Management and Management reporting. MEININGER Hotels. Redefining hybrid hospitality. Where the comforts of a hotel meet the special facilities of a hostel.We run more than 35 hotels in Europe's best citiesâand counting THE TASKS

Prepare monthly and year-end audits and reports for Expansion and DevelopmentPrepare the CAPEX report and review the Expansion CAPEX per group policyDevelop & prepare Overall Project Cost reconciliation and liaise with Project TeamReconciles with Accounts Receivable that project invoices are raised according to the contractWork closely with Asset Management Team in tracking amendments to existing and new leasesAct as the link between Asset Manager and Finance team to ensure rents and ancillaries are paid Proceed with budget & communicate overspent to Projects & Development for both CAPEX and OPEXSupport the Budget process & communicate overspentPrepare forecasts and highlight overrunsProvide management with ad-hoc analysis as the basis for strategic decisionsSupport preparation of internal month-end reporting and prepare reports for external parties and year-end reportingMonitor relevant KPIs and review business performance and overheads to identify misallocations YOUR PROFILE Bachelors or Masterâs degree in Controlling or FinanceMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in Finance of international hotel chainShared Service and General Ledger Accounting experience is a plus
Excellent knowledge in Excel.
