Job Title: Social Media Manager InternCompany: NotagalleryLocation: BerlinJob Type: Internship (free)Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Manager Intern. As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and promote our exhibitions, artists, and events across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for art, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of creating compelling content and driving engagement on social media.Responsibilities:Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand visibility and compelling and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Youtube, and other relevant social media the gallery's social media accounts, including posting regular updates, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with followers.Collaborate with artists, curators, and team members to gather content and promote upcoming exhibitions, events, and initiatives.Monitor social media trends, track performance metrics, and analyze data to identify opportunities for optimization.Analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports to track the effectiveness of our social media efforts.Conduct research on industry best practices, competitor activity, and emerging trends to inform our social media up-to-date with industry developments, art world news, and relevant cultural events to identify opportunities for content creation and engagement.Qualifications:Currently enrolled/ graduated in a degree program in marketing, communications, art history, or a related understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.Proficiency in graphic design/ video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro/ Final Cut Pro/ Canva/ Capcut) to create strong visual content for social media platforms.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of digital marketing principles, including SEO, content marketing, and influencer outreach.Passion for the arts and a genuine interest in contemporary art and cultural experience managing social media accounts for brands or businesses, preferably in the arts or cultural sector is a plus.Benefits:Hands-on experience in social media management for a reputable art gallery.Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals in the art and marketing industries.Opportunity to build a portfolio of creative work and gain valuable insights into the art world.Networking opportunities with artists, creatives, and other stakeholders in the community.Flexible schedule.Application Instructions:To apply, please submit your resume, cover letter, and a portfolio of your previous social media work (including examples of content creation and engagement metrics) to [email protected].
