Meet the team behind this journey

The Integrations team’s challenge is to provide DeepL’s users with exciting new ways of using its services through extensions and plugins. We believe that DeepL’s groundbreaking AI technology can be used to great effect when integrated in a wide range of other apps. One example is our browser extension (Chrome, Edge, Firefox), which allows users to translate entire web pages, selected text or even text input fields. Our team is working closely with both backend and frontend teams to ensure that we can introduce even more exciting integrations in the future.

Your Responsibilities

Manual testing of apps and services across a wide range of test areas: web, backend (API), apps & payment, but with a special focus on integrations (extensions & plugins)Creating E2E automated tests (Playwright)Creating bug report tickets (JIRA)Creating test plans (Testrail) and test documentation (Confluence)Being part of a cross-functional engineering team, and communicating with developers and product managers on development and QA mattersCooperating with other QA engineers, including discussion on workflow improvements & QA-related themes

Qualities we look for

You have extensive experience in manual software testing, both frontend and backend, on multiple platforms such as Windows, MacOS, Android, iOSYou have experience with test automation frameworks and can work on creating automated test cases for use in regression testsUsed to working in a structured, thorough and independent mannerYou have an eye for detail and can keep focus on testing tasksComfortable with using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Browserstack, Testrail, etc.You are a strong communicatorFluent in English, knowledge of other languages, e.g. German, is a plus
