About the Position: Serves as a team member of the immunization / allergy-immunology clinic for the Department of Medicine Allergy Service, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.

Duties

• Obtain health information from patients to identify major complaints, symptoms, or reason for seeking health care.
• Educate patients regarding follow-up care that may be required.
• Provide logistical support such as ordering supplies, taking inventory, and/or stocking medical supplies.
• Responsible for assisting physician with patient care.
• Obtain vital signs and report findings to physician.
• Perform allergen skin testing.
• Assist with food and medication allergy challenges.
• Recognize and determine appropriate vaccine scheduling.
• Administer vaccines to patients of all ages.
• Recognize appropriate treatment for anaphylaxis reaction.
• Assist with answering phone calls and scheduling appointments.
• Administer immunotherapy injections.
