  • Investigation and optimization of novel catalyst ink compositions by variation of the solvent, ionomer, and/or solid content with regards to fundamental materials properties of components
  • Development of catalyst layer coatings using optimized ink compositions and the physical characterization of the produced catalyst layers
  • Physical characterization and electrochemical evaluation of the produced catalyst layers as cathode, and/or anode in PEM fuel cells
  • Design of experiments, data evaluation, and presentation of test results
Qualifications arrow_right
  • Master student of chemistry, electrochemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, or a similar field
  • Laboratory experience in the field of chemistry and safe and responsible handling of hazardous chemicals
  • Knowledge of electrochemistry/fuel cells through lectures or internships is desirable
  • You are self-motivated and can adapt easily to an independent working style with high commitment
  • You have good knowledge of spoken and written English
