Responsibilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Expertise in fluid engineering: calculations, conception, knowledge about hydraulic components (ideally Sun and Hawe Hydraulics) Prepares hydraulic layouts including hydraulic schematics and corresponding BOMs Troubleshooting of existing tools in the workshop and existing assets in the fleet worldwide (remote support) Good understanding of mechanical systems Ideally knowledge about explosion prof designs (Atex, IECex) Good relationship to our vendors Modifies existing products to meet internal or external customer requirements. Prepares documentation as required for Engineering files. Anticipates possible failure modes on products and recommends solutions based on experience. Performs comprehensive analysis of critical components to eliminate possible failure modes, in new or existing products. Analyses test data to determine if the product meets predetermined technical specifications. May utilize computer driven fluid simulations. Assists others with all engineering activities to include working within the Product Development Process. Routinely demonstrates the ability to converge on a solution in a commercially viable amount of time in the absence of extensive guidance. Performs task/project with oversight of a senior engineer, such as (Project / Principal / Supervisor / Manager). Will contribute specific tasks in the project scope. Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Qualifications

Must have B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, ideally with focus fluids May have expertise with E-Plan Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Accurate and strong attention to detail Organizational talent, quality, and responsibility awareness Fluent knowledge of German and English Strong analytical skills and strong communication skills Willingness to perform and flexibility Enjoy working in an international environment Occasional willingness to travel Min 3-5 years experience
