About the Company:

Our client is a leading global company in the self-care products sector, committed to continuous improvement and innovation across multiple markets. With a strong presence in the DACH and CEE regions, the company is undergoing a transformation to enhance its demand planning processes and introduce new technologies. To support this, they are looking for an experienced Demand Planning -Lead Consultant (m/f/d) to take on a strategic leadership role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the demand planning process across the DACH and CEE regions, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with market needs.
  • Manage and develop a team of Demand Planners across multiple countries, ensuring smooth coordination and adherence to global planning standards.
  • Oversee the introduction and implementation of SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) across the cluster, ensuring processes are streamlined and efficient.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including commercial teams and senior leadership, to ensure forecasts and planning assumptions are aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct regular demand planning reviews and ensure all processes are executed in a timely manner.
  • Analyze market trends, category performance, and stock visibility to optimize forecasting capabilities.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align strategic plans and drive demand planning improvements.
  • Provide support for the hiring, onboarding, and training of new demand planning coordinators.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor demand planning effectiveness and take corrective actions when necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, with at least 5 years in Demand Planning.
  • Proven leadership experience, particularly in managing teams in an international and dynamic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP IBP and other demand forecasting platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
  • Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry is highly desirable.
