At your site,you'll lead other managers and create the operational plan thathelps your teams meet their targets. This role is all about drivingoperational excellence to create the Amazon of tomorrow.

Key job responsibilities
• Manageand develop a team of Area Managers
• Lead operationalteams on a shift, deal with issues, and positively impact siteperformance
• Analyse shift performance against relevantbusiness objectives, and put in place actions to improve ouroperational excellence
• Work closely with other supportteams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security
• Design and deliver initiatives across the sites toimprove operational performance

Aday in the life
You'll lead shifts at one of ouroperational sites. You'll also be the key link between a number ofteams, including finance, safety and operations integration teams.That means you'll be close to the day-to-day operations at yoursite but also contribute to new ways to innovate at your site.
A typical day will involve meetings with different areasof the business, deep diving into performance and risk metrics forsites, and looking ahead to prepare for different levels of demand.Every day will also involve mentoring and coaching your team.You'll be a source of leadership and support your team to be thebest managers they can be.

The CF teamare the first people in the chain that helps customers get productsat the speed we're known for. We're based in Fulfilment Centres,which are at the heart of Amazon's fast-paced Operations network.Our centres are sometimes referred to as the 'First Mile' becauseit's where most Amazon packages start their journey. We help tomanage dynamic inventory and facilitate speedy deliveries round theclock.

Lots of different people work in ourFulfilment Centres, so there are plenty of opportunities for everyskillset. Some of us work with physical products, while othersanalyse data to help everyone across the business make smartdecisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • A Bachelorsdegree
• Relevant experience in people and stakeholdermanagement
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and writtenEnglish and intermediate proficiency in the local language
• Relevant experience in using data or anecdotalevidence to influence business decisions
• Relevantexperience in key areas of production and supply chains
•Flexible to work in different shifts androtations

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS • Preferred qualifications are notrequired to apply for a position at Amazon. If you have all thebasic qualifications above, we'd love to hear from you.
• Experience in Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques
• Experience in a similar logistical working environment
• Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite(Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
