PEM Fuel Cell Scientist

Empowering people, creating technology Responsibilities:
  • As part of the team "Advanced MEA Technologies", you will play a central role in the development of membrane electrode assembly (MEA) components of PEM fuel cells
  • Technical interpretation of the MEA performance and lifetime data and design of additional accelerated stress test (AST) methods for PEM fuel cells
  • Design and development of alternative catalyst (layer) concepts for PEM fuel cells
  • Analysis of measurement data from physical and electrochemical measurement methods
  • Project management and co-authoring of project proposals
Qualifications:
  • You have completed Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, electrochemistry, nanotechnology or materials science and a PhD in electrochemistry, electrocatalysis, PEM fuel cells
  • Experience in fuel cell catalysts is required
  • Experience in the development of catalyst activity and stability protocols for fuel cell applications is highly beneficial and will be considered an asset in your application
  • You enjoy working in a team environment, self-motivated and easily adapted to an independent working style with high commitment
  • Business fluent English and German completes your profile
