Security Sales Specialist

Are you interested in helping accelerate AWS Security Sales across Germany? Do you have a passion for information security, combined with experience in representing security technologies to large enterprises? How would you like to be part of a collaborative team working to make the internet safer by helping organizations manage their cloud digital risk?
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Security Sales Specialist to help protect customers from information security threats. In this role, you will promote AWS's native security services portfolio and partner security solutions featured on AWS Marketplace.
You will partner closely with AWS sales teams, including account managers, solutions architects, customer success, partners, demand generation, marketing, and more. Your goal is to pursue sales opportunities for AWS and partner services. Your mission is to advise them on improving their security posture by adopting and operationalizing cloud security services. As part of our commitment to improvement, you will collect customer feedback to help guide the roadmap for our cloud security portfolio.
The role of our Security Sales Specialist requires someone who simultaneously acts as a market maker, operator, and general manager for their own customer accounts. About the team
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Multi-year experience as a tenured Security Salesperson
Demonstrated ability to work across a matrixed, cross-functional team
Sales overlay experience (as a specialist, Enterprise etc)
Business fluent (not necessarily native) German
