Die US-Botschaft in Berlin sucht geeignete und qualifizierte Bewerber für die Position als Telefonischer Kundenservice / Call Center Agent (m/w/d) [offizieller Titel: Telephone Operator (m/w/d)].

Ihre Aufgaben

In dieser Position werden Sie als Call Center Agent (m/w/d) in der US-Botschaft in Berlin arbeiten und bieten rund um die Uhr (24/7) Kundenservice für die Telefonzentrale der Botschaft in Berlin, der Konsulate in München, Hamburg, Leipzig, Düsseldorf und Frankfurt sowie der US-Tri-Mission in Wien, Österreich an.
Sie werden in wechselnden Schichten tätig sein, einschließlich nachts, am Wochenende und an Feiertagen. Während des Schichtdienstes werden Sie die alleinige Verantwortung für den gesamten Betrieb der Telefonzentrale der Mission übernehmen.

Ihr Profil

Sie haben die Sekundarstufe (Deutsch: Realschule, Amerika: American High School Diploma oder GED) erfolgreich abgeschlossen.
Weiterhin konnten Sie erste Berufserfahrungen als Operator an einem elektronischen Switchboard-System oder allgemeine Bürotätigkeiten in einem kundenorientieren Umfeld sammeln.

Protocol Assistant (m/f/d) Who We Are

The U.S. Mission comprises the Embassy in Berlin and five consulates in Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Leipzig and provides a wide array of services and support as well as playing a vital role in German American relations. The U.S. Consulate General in Hamburg is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Protocol Assistant (m/f/d).

Your Tasks

As the Protocol/Executive Assistant you will provide expert advice to the U.S. Consul General and other U.S. government officials on protocol issues and related matters in planning, developing, and carrying out official events at the U.S. Consulate, at the official residence, and other locations. You will assure a well- run Executive office and assist the Consul General and his/her deputy in all matters including making travel and hotel arrangements, translating correspondence, maintaing the contact datbase, as well as liaising with local government and NGO offices.

Your Profile

You have two years of post-secondary education or completion of other equivalent post-secondary education program/degree (vocational education, associate degree, or college/university studies), and have gained professional experience in office administration, management, or as a personal assistant. Have strong communication skills, discretion and tact and you possess fluent German and English oral and written language skills.
