Interim Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
Location: Germany, remote position with international travel
Interim assignment
Our client is a fast-growing international industrial group with operations across Europe, the Americas, and the Asia-Pacific region. The business is undergoing significant transformation and requires immediate senior HR leadership to support its global growth and integration agenda. With more than 1,700 employees at multiple international sites, the company combines innovation, precision engineering, and customer-focused service to meet demanding client needs.
The Interim Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will join the executive leadership team for a defined period to provide strategic and operational HR leadership during a critical phase of growth and transformation. The role requires a seasoned HR executive with the ability to quickly assess the situation, stabilise processes, and implement solutions that ensure business continuity while laying the foundation for long-term success.
7 (HR leaders across international sites)
Group CEO
10+ years of HR leadership experience, ideally in industrial / manufacturing or multi-site environments
~ Proven ability to quickly adapt and deliver impact in interim or transitional leadership assignments
~ Pragmatic, hands-on approach with the ability to balance urgent priorities with strategic oversight
~ Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
~ Provide immediate HR leadership and ensure stability of global HR operations during a period of transition
Review and refine the companys HR structures, processes, and systems to support rapid scaling
Support leadership development, succession, and retention of key talent in a transitional context
Guide cultural alignment and change management initiatives across multiple countries
Ensure compliance with relevant labour regulations and manage HR risk exposure
Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Committee on people and organizational matters
Prepare the organization for the handover to a long-term HR leadership solution
