Designing and implement data pipelines and workflows, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
☁️ Monitoring and optimizing data pipeline performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure seamless data flow.
☁️ Assisting in designing and developing enterprise-level data architectures to create scalable and efficient data processing pipelines.
☁️ Contributing to the creation of technical roadmaps and data strategies that drive data initiatives.
☁️ Exploring and evaluating new data technologies and methodologies, developing proof-of-concepts to validate their applicability.
☁️ Collaborating with senior engineers, software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to learn data engineering practices, understand data needs, and develop effective solutions.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer with an analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
⭐️ ETL/ELT Tooling, Data Modelling, Data Catalogs, Data Governance
⭐️ Hands-on experience with: Python, SQL, Java, Scala and/or Rust as well as Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, dbt, Infrastructure as Code, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
⭐️ Fluency in German and English
⭐️ Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related activities within the DACH region
