Forming part ofthe Biotechnology segment at Danaher, we bring together dedicatedtechnical expertise and talent to develop the next generation oflife-changing therapeutics.

The FinanceManager (f/m/d) for Cytiva is responsible to lead theannual planning and monthly forecasting cycles, prepare and reportmonthly actuals and forecasts to the Finance leadershipteam.

This position is part ofthe Finance Team located in Cologne (Germany)and will be hybrid . At Cytiva, our vision is, toadvance future therapeutics from discovery todelivery.

In thisrole, you will have the opportunityto:

  • Maintain a culture ofcontrol and compliance with regards to financial controls and costdiscipline to ensure accurate accounting records and compliancewith local and Cytiva requirements in close collaboration with therest of the Finance team.
  • Develop and maintainperformance KPIs to drive growth and profitability for the Cevec’sportfolio, including orders, sales, pricing, margin, and marketshare; to frequently present the analysis of actuals vsplan.
  • Monitor the progress on agreedinitiatives, through relevant KPIs and Risks & Opportunities,to pro-actively recommend mitigation actions for any deviationsfrom target performance metrics.
  • Maintainappropriate record keeping in line with Cytiva and local standards,supporting the statutory account and specific legal entityrequirements.

Theessential requirements of the jobinclude :

  • Bachelor’s degreein accounting, finance, or business administration degree andminimum of 3 years of financial work experience developingforecasts and operating plans and leading business/financereviews.
  • Strong skills in financial systems /applications (i.e. Oracle, Qlik, Power BI, etc.) for reporting andbusiness intelligence, and expert skills in Microsoft Excel fordata compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, vlookup, powerqueries, and macros).
  • Experience successfullyleading cross-functional projects and process improvement withinthe operations/finance functions being able to quickly grasp newideas and drive positive change.
  • Excellentcommunication skills to clearly communicate complex financialinformation in an easy-to-understand manner both verbally andwritten.
  • Fluent in English languages ismandatory, German on a conversationallevel

Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein:

  • Finance / FP&Awithin international organizations in the Life Sciences /Healthcare industry.
  • Working in a globalbusiness environment with strong understanding of AccountingPrinciples and Controllership (i.e. SOX, USGAAP).
  • Some experience with DATEV would be aplus
