Because digital energy trading cant wait any longer: At EWE TRADING GmbH, we handle the energy trading activities of the EWE Group and act as the Group´s interface to the wholesale markets for energy and natural gas and emissions rights (EUA and CER). Join our mission and our great team to grow with us.
Your new position
- You are responsible for (renewables) energy trading in the Intraday and spot market
- You will manage our Day Ahead and Intraday processes
- In addition, you are steering and monitoring trading strategies
- You take over the optimization and marketing of power plants and flexibilities on electricity and gas exchanges
- EWE’s electricity schedules and gas nominations are part of your responsibilities
- Lastly, you are part of a 24/7 shift team that also works on weekends and nights
Your Profile
- You have a very good degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or some other higher education
- Experience in the energy business, especially in renewables trading, is desirable but not a must
- You have your good programming skills, ideally Python, to clean, analyze and visualize data
- You have a very strong commercial mindset
- A good command of the German and English language, both spoken and written, is required
- Ability to work independently and also enjoy working in a 24/7 shift team
- Physical presence in Bremen is necessary for this role
