Job summary
As a CFO for Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring Germany, your scope includes, in addition to Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.
This is a high-level position, working hand to hand with the CEO and the deputy CEO.
As a senior leadership team member, you will play a critical role in refining and enabling the growth strategy. You will maintain key oversight responsibilities to manage the current portfolio of products.
As amanager of a 12 people team, (including one manager), you will be responsible for developing staff to drive performance and accountability.
Main tasks:
- Management of the Accounting and Controlling departments (including Treasury and Banking relations) and direct reporting to the CEO
- Consulting of the management board on strategic corporate development, financial planning and budgeting
- Responsibility for the timely preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements based on IFRS, HGB, group consolidation
- Management of treasury processes with regard to intra-group and external refinancing
- Contact person for the management, the advisory board, the French parent company as well as auditors and tax consultants, banking supervision and the Bundesbank
- Implementation of the accounting policies and controls and monitoring of their compliance
- Contact person for special questions regarding accounting, M&A
- Ensuring of timely and accurate regulatory reporting
- Planning and control of the necessary profitability by focusing on continuous improvement and cost reduction as well as increasing efficiency
- Participation in international projects
- Consulting of and cooperation with the internal departments
- Own forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning for CAL&F in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands in accordance with CAL&F France reporting and planning cycles
- Develop daily liquidity operational modeling in coordination with CAL&F functions
- Partner with CAL&F Treasury to maximize the benefits of the entity
- Model, create and implement controls and processes to manage assets and liabilities in a way that minimizes interest expense, maximizes entity profitability and adequately manages the overall asset and liability portfolio mix
- Regularly work with outside investors, corporate treasury and other market stakeholders to manage debt covenants, reporting and strategic modeling and planning
- Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles
- Publish financial statements in time
- Supervise month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process.
