Role descriptionAllianz has an ambition to expand its Multinational MidCorp offering to satisfy and support the increasing demand from the expanding international client base and their cross border needs.As an Underwriter, you will be joining our growing Property and Casualty team at Allianz UK as part the newly formed Multinational Specialist team.
The team will have responsibility and oversight for Multinational business across the UK.The team will be responsible for the performance of the Allianz UK direct book of business, whilst also supporting and servicing the needs of the Allianz network for their International clients.This role will play a key part in the continued development of our offering to our clients, including driving and building key relationships across our market as we look to satisfy our clients’ needs and grow the account.You will also be responsible for supporting the wider progression of the Multinational Specialist hub by providing training and development for less experienced team members.Proven experience in handling large casesStrong ability to build, develop and maintain broker relationshipsAchievement orientated, able to organise own workload to meet tight deadlines and with a positive attitudeA good team player - supportive to others with an enthusiastic and positive attitudeConfident and engaging communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence othersACII qualified or progression towardsFull working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookWhat we will offer you Recognised and rewarded for a job well done, we have a range of flexible benefits for you to choose from so you can pick a package that’s perfect for you.
