Employment conditions are regulated by the German TV-L regulations (max. The position is part of a DFG-funded project that focuses on the identification of metabolic signalling molecules released by dying cells. The project builds on recent findings that apoptotic cells secrete antiinflammatory metabolites that promote wound healing (see e. g. here DOI: 10.The new project focuses on the question of which biologically active metabolites are secreted during different forms of cell death (e. g. apoptosis or necroptosis) and what effects these have on other cells. Collaboration in project management (e. g. reporting, presentation of project results) as well as participation in the daily laboratory organization are also expected. A scientific university degree (Bachelor or Master) or technical training with a focus on cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, bioanalytics, biotechnology, pharmacy, molecular medicine or related subjects. Candidates in the final phase of their Bachelor's degree (i. e. Bachelor's thesis) will also be considered, depending on suitability. Good written and spoken English and German language skills are also expected.
