You will learn by working in your project, you will work with referents and you will have access to the entire BBVA training offer
and to the Ninja project, a gamified training platform with a community of more than 11,000 participants with more than 2,000 talks, 1,300 workshops and 48 hackathons held.Academic background in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field, engineering, business school.12+ years of experience working in corporate and/or investment banking related to Project Finance and/or experience in construction / energy firms / funds related to project finance.Strong knowledge of the Project Finance markets in those geographies, clients involved (industrial and financial sponsors), financial advisors, lenders, and other related relevant players.Proficient in ALL Microsoft Office Tools, Bloomberg would be a plus.Languages:Fluent in German and English is a must.Strong preference for Spanish fluency. Excellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work in a team international environment and under tight deadlines.Ability to coordinate and negotiate with clients, lenders, internal departments, etc.Well balanced team player.International mindset.The ED will lead the origination, structuring, and execution of Project Finance deals in Germany and surrounding Central Europe countries. Strong knowledge of the Project Finance markets in those geographies, clients involved (industrial and financial sponsors), financial advisors, banks, and other related relevant players.However, due to the compact size of the team, he will be expected to take over structuring, execution and documentation of specific deals.Essential Job Duties: Strong knowledge of the Project Finance markets in those geographies, clients involved (industrial and financial sponsors), financial advisors, lenders, and other related relevant players.Origination of Project Finance transactions across various markets; manage & develop a relationship with clients, lenders, advisors, etc.Good understanding of Project Finance sectors (energy, TMT, infrastructure, etc); understanding of international financial markets.Strong experience in the origination and execution (from the origination to financial closing) of Project Finance deals including among others: financial structuring, financial modelling, managing Due Diligence process, financing documentation, credit analysis, etc.Strong ability to understand, produce and negotiate complex project finance documentation (term sheets, commitment letters, credit agreements and others) and different type of complex financing structures.Direct underwriting, Due Diligence, and Financial Analysis of project finance opportunities in infrastructure and energy.Overseeing portfolio management and information reporting as well as due accounting of deals.Level of Complexity and Risk Involved:Complex responsibilities, with a critical component being the overseeing of work performance by junior team members as well as direct responsibilities for both origination and execution of deals.
