Consulting Director, Proactive Services, Cloud and AI (Unit 42) About the role: The Consulting Director is a senior-level position focused on delivering threatled and technologydriven cybersecurity consulting services through leading a team of consultants. The role involves client delivery, team leadership, business development, and strategic program management. Responsibilities Oversee delivery of proactive consulting services, ensuring consistency, quality, and high customer service. Provide handson, expertlevel proactive Security Operations Center (SOC) assessment and transformation services to clients and deliver findings to CxO/Board. Work with the Regional Business Development Manager (BDM) and Customer Success Manager (CSM) to generate pipeline and win new business. Lead scoping and services overview conversations, presenting with credibility and authority to technical and executive audiences. Partner with the Unit 42 executive team and service line leaders to develop and execute strategy for the proactive services practice. Drive innovation in proactive offerings, leading the consulting team and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to bring new capabilities to market. Manage team productivity, attainment of utilisation targets and support professional growth and development of consultants. Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent and foster a culture of excellence. Maintain relationships with key clientele, increase awareness of Unit 42 capabilities, and provide ondemand expertise. Amplify Unit 42 presence and credibility through thought leadership, speaking engagements, articles, and media exposure. Qualifications Experience 10+ years of handson experience delivering a wide range of cybersecurity consulting services, and at least 4 of the following 8 for global enterprise customers: Security operations (highly preferred) Application security (including AI) Cloud security Red & purple teaming Cybersecurity risk assessments Cybersecurity strategy & transformations Cyber crisis management Zero Trust Seniorlevel team leadership, overseeing principal, senior, and midlevel analysts/consultants. Ability to balance commercial support, client delivery, team leadership, mentoring, and technical skill maintenance. Strong presentation, communication, and clientmanagement skills, including CxO/Board level engagement. Public speaking experience and proven writing abilities (technical reports, business communication, thought leadership). Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, or related equivalent experience. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and other leading industry certifications. Expert knowledge of applicable laws, compliance regulations, and industry standards related to privacy, security, compliance.
