Subsidiary of a major European player in the construction of metal buildings, we support our clients in Germany in the design, manufacturing, and construction of industrial, logistics, commercial, tertiary, and parking buildings.

Managing Director (Engineering and Projects) m/f

Metal Buildings / Mainz (Germany)

Reporting to the CEO and member of the management committee, you will be responsible for the company's activities in Germany. In the absence of the CEO, who divides his time between different countries, you will ensure continuity in the management of the site. Your main role will be to guarantee the development of our business and our operational performance.

In collaboration with the Sales Director, you will draw up our development strategy, particularly to address the general contractors and car park markets. You will support its implementation.

You will supervise all phases of business execution and ensure and monitor the associated financial results. You will ensure the optimization of business in terms of technical aspects, deadlines, and costs.

You will instill and develop a culture of excellence through the involvement and motivation of employees in the search for optimized solutions and processes. More specifically, this involves analyzing, challenging, and optimizing designs, ensuring the quality of achievements and customer service, and monitoring the legal and financial aspects of business. Your team leadership helps create the conditions for this dynamic where everyone can grow in service of the project. Your mission involves change management.

Your success will allow you to establish yourself over time within the Group and move on to broader responsibilities.

With an engineering background, you have experience (approximately 15 years) in the building sector, on construction projects, within large groups or SMEs / midcaps.
You have a strong construction culture. Your professional experience has made you familiar with general contractors. You can easily manage tender response files.
Knowledge of metal structures will be a plus, but not essential. International exposure is necessary in our European environment where the working is English.
You are currently, for example, Project Director, Director of Studies, Technical Director, Operations Director, or Director of Operations. You are looking for a position where your human and professional qualities will be valued, in an environment related to the buildings of tomorrow.
