Join our team as DEU-Heidenheim In this role you contribute to the development of our Wound Care portfolio & specifically work with polymer-based components for Vivano. You will act as an interface to external service providers (e.g. suppliers, manufacturers) as well as internally (e.g. procurement) to our colleagues and be an expert in the field of wound therapy. You will support our team, which drives innovation in our products with passion and dedication. This position is a parental leave replacement and temporary for 24 months. Responsibilities: Idea generation for new products and technologies Development of new products in compliance with relevant regulations and standards Management and leadership of projects throughout the development lifecycle including Design Reviews, Technical Reviews and Project Gate Reviews within the Innovation and Development areas of the Wound Care division Preparation and presentation of project status at all levels of the company Technical responsibility for a dedicated product assortment in the field of negative pressure wound care Collaboration with other departments e. g. marketing, production, supply chain, regulatory affairs Supporting the wider company in the maintenance and updating of documentation in accordance with relevant requirements Ensuring product compliance to all relevant rules and guidelines Qualifications: Completed studies in natural science/engineering (e.g. medical technology, polymer technology / engineering) with focus on polymers /plastics and the associated production technologies Experience in the design and processing of polymeric materials, extrusion & injection molding Experience in project collaboration and/or project management Experience in the field of wound care and medical devices Knowledge of the medical device’s regulation and the associated subject areas (e.g., application, design control, biocompatibility, clinical evaluation, risk management, sterilization, CE conformity, FDA, etc.) Fluent in English and German Benefits: Flexible working conditions, such as flexible working hours and mobile working Attractive ways of combining work and family life, e.g. childcare subsidy 30 days paid leave per year, plus special leave for exceptional life events as well as vacation pay and special annual payment according to collective agreement Plenty of parking spaces, canteen with café bar and ongoing offers in the employee shop Access to over 6000 fitness and yoga studios, swimming pools as well as Crossfit and bouldering halls (EGYM Wellpass) Various health and fitness offers, e.g. skin cancer screenings, online courses for mental health, massage offers, yoga during lunch break etc. Attractive discounts on e.g. travel, fashion and technology via our corporate benefits platform​ Shape a career that’s focused on healthcare customers, fit for the future and grounded in a culture of trust and openness.
