You will work on tax and transfer pricing controversy related projects and support the team in developing responses to tax authority inquiries across EMEA in a timely and concise manner while also working on strategic questions concerning tax audits, tax litigation, Mutual Agreement Procedures and Advanced Pricing Agreements.
Collecting data needed for the preparation of responses to tax authorities from different functions within Eaton (e.g.: Finance, Treasury, International Tax).
Providing support in calculating the reserves for EMEA tax positions.
Providing support on ad-hoc projects and activities depending on business needs.
Master's Degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business (other degrees will be considered if relevant experience in transfer pricing or tax). 5-7 years working experience in transfer pricing or international tax gained from either a similar position in industry or in a consulting environment.
Fluency in English is necessary. Fluency in German is an advantage, as communication with tax authorities is often carried out in the local language.
Must be proficient in the use of standard software, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint, including experience in financial modelling. Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team.
