The successful candidate will be remunerated at pay band E13 TV-L.Your duties
  • As a research associate you will assist in the data acquisition within the PREDICT-LBP ( ) project, which is funded by the German Aerospace Center (DLR)
  • The candidate will assist with accurately acquiring physical, physiological, questionnaire, and pain perception data from healthy controls and back pain patients.
  • Accurate and reproducible segmentation of para-spinal muscles in axial MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scans.
  • Following and assisting in improving current internal data acquisition guidelines and protocols. Your profile
    • Masters (or international equivalent) in exercise science, sports science, physiotherapy, medicine, health science, rehabilitation science or another relevant discipline.
    • General knowledge of spine and trunk anatomy.
    • Experience in acquiring scientific study data in human participants.
    • Experience with spine MRI data is not a necessity, but is greatly beneficial.
    • Ability to work in teams.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Fluent in German and a strong English skills (written and spoken).
