Senior Software Engineer Full Stack (w/m/d)

Von der mobilen App bis zum Paketrouting - dahinter steckt immer eine ausgeklügelte IT. Als interner Dienstleister der GLS Gruppe entwickeln, organisieren und verantworten wir die gesamte IT für rund 862 Millionen Pakete in über 49 Ländern weltweit. In Zukunft werden wir weitere Länder in unsere GLS Familie aufnehmen. Ein Paket pro Jahr zustellen, Trivial. 800 Millionen Pakete pro Jahr zustellen, Komplex. Unser Stream Aligned Team kümmert sich in enger Abstimmung mit den Nutzern um die nachhaltige Entwicklung der Softwareprodukte für das operative Management des Paketzustell- und Abholprozesses.

  • Du übernimmst als Tech-Lead des Teams Verantwortung für die Entwicklung und den Betrieb eurer innovativen Produkte
  • Das Team agiert maximal unabhängig mit vollem Fokus auf die Domäne Pickup and Delivery
  • Ihr geht agil, iterativ und inkrementell vor; dazu gehört die Durchführung von Proof of Concepts (POCs) für neue Features und Technologien und die Bewertung des potenziellen Nutzens
  • Ihr arbeitet interdisziplinär mit den Fachabteilungen und den Kunden zusammen
  • Im Rahmen von DevOps seid ihr von Design bis Betrieb in allen Schritten der Entwicklung hautnah dabei
  • Ihr realisiert die Produktideen auf Basis modernster Technologien
  • Dazu gehört die Implementierung von Microservices in der Cloud und der Einsatz von künstlicher Intelligenz
  • Gemeinsam mit euren Kunden und anderen internationalen Teams schafft ihr damit echten Wert, treibt die Digitalisierung voran und modernisiert die IT-Landschaft der GLS
  • Du hast einen Abschluss (Ausbildung oder Studium) im Bereich IT, z.B. (Wirtschafts-) Informatik / Ingenieurwesen, Mathematik, Physik oder vergleichbar
  • Du hast mehrjährige Erfahrung in der professionellen Softwareentwicklung, idealerweise im Umfeld der Logistik
  • Du bist sicher in der Java-Welt zuhause und hast Erfahrung mit einigen gängigen Frameworks wie zum Beispiel Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), JavaScript, Ionic, JEE
  • Du hast Erfahrung in der Frontend Entwicklung mit TypeScript und Angular
  • Du hast gute Kenntnisse im Bereich Datenbanken sowie Datenkommunikation (REST, Socket)
  • Moderne CI/CD-Werkzeuge wie Jenkins und Ansible sind Dir geläufig
  • Du hast Erfahrungen in der Cloud – Welt: Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda), Docker and Kubernetes
  • Du bist ein Teamplayer, teilst Dein Wissen gerne und suchst stehts nach einer guten Lösung für das Team, Produkt und die Firma
  • Sehr Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse runden Dein Profil ab
