Assistant / Associate Professor of Chemistry of "Advanced Materials" (m/f/d)

You are expected to establish an internationally leading research group in an experimental area of Chemistry with a strong focus on the synthesis and physicochemical characterization of Advanced Materials. The successful candidate is further expected to support teaching in Chemistry (lecture and laboratory courses) at the BSc, MSc, and PhD level, to develop and implement innovative, pedagogically sound approaches to online, hybrid and in-person teaching and learning, to advise students on their studies, and to supervise Bachelor, Master and PhD theses and research projects.
Several opportunities exist to develop multidisciplinary research projects in collaboration with other research groups or our industrial partners, including collaborations in emerging fields such as the use of artificial intelligence in the natural sciences.
PhD degree in the field of Chemistry or Material Science.
Experience and success in teaching in the context of international and diverse environments
Demonstrable interest in innovative teaching and learning approaches Experience in transferring research knowledge to solving problems in engineering and science
Responsible, self-motivated person able to work independently and as a part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in English, the language of instruction and communication on campus
