Bioinformatiker*in (m/w/d)/Data Scientist (m/w/d)
(E 13 TV-L, Vollzeit)
Im Rahmen des DFG-Projekts FLIX-Nanopore erforschen wir eine innovative Methode zur In-vivo-Kartierung von Transkriptionsfaktor-DNA-Interaktionen unter Verwendung von Femtosekundenlaser-Quervernetzung und fortschrittlicher Nanoporen-Sequenzierung zur Untersuchung von Genregulationsnetzwerken.
Ziel des Projekts ist es, Informationen von DNA-Protein-Interaktionen (Modifikationsanalyse) und Long-Read-Sequenzierungsdaten zu kombinieren, um eine neue Methode zur Erforschung genomischer Strukturinformationen zu etablieren.
Abgeschlossenes Studium (Master, Diplom, Promotion) im Bereich Computational Biology, Bioinformatik, Informatik, Biologie oder einer verwandten Disziplin mit einschlägiger Berufserfahrung in den Bereichen Genomik, NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) und Bioinformatik
Solide Programmiererfahrung und umfassende Kenntnisse in der Verwendung gängiger Skriptsprachen (R, Python, C++ usw.) sowie Hintergrundwissen im Bereich Deep-Learning-Netztraining
Erfahrung mit Git, Linux, mit Hochleistungsrechnern sowie in der Vorverarbeitung und Analyse von Hochdurchsatzdaten
Begeisterung für die Genomanalyse im Rahmen der Grundlagenforschung und Interesse an deren Weiterentwicklung
Unterstützung bei der Analyse und Interpretation von Bulk- und Single-Cell-Sequenzierungsdaten sowie der Formulierung von weiteren Hypothesen/Forschungsfragen
