  • Leadership: ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of essential reports, including monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Team Development: Ensure the finance team possesses the necessary personnel and skills to support the company's ambitious growth.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure compliance with business, regulatory, and tax requirements, overseeing the preparation of long-term financial plans.
  • Auditing: Coordinate external audits to ensure their timely and successful completion.
  • Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs and strategic initiatives, implementing effective treasury and working capital management practices.
  • Compensation Plans: Monitor, prepare, and report on all compensation plans, both in operation and proposed.
  • Process Optimization: Streamline and document financial and accounting processes to optimize efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with business leads to achieve operational results, providing insights and recommendations based on accurate financial analysis.
  • Cost Optimization: Ensure maximum value from every euro spent.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake other ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
  • Professional accreditation as an Accountant.
  • Substantial experience, minimum of 7 Years, in a financial control environment with proven leadership references.
  • Proven thought leadership, collaborative team player, and a track record of effective participation in small teams.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
  • Highly valued proficiency in data visualization tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, demonstrating the ability to handle and format large files, generate ad hoc reports, and conduct comprehensive data analysis.
  • Skilled in using PowerPoint, with a history of creating impactful management presentation slide decks.
  • Knowledgeable about legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
